Data Policies
Coverage Provided
We have datasets for limited ticker symbols in each of the markets we cover, and not necessarily all ticker symbols. We have the right to add or remove any ticker symbols at our sole discretion. We do not automatically provide data for extremely low-priced stocks or lower market capitalization stocks since technical analysis techniques do not work with such stocks and the charts for those stocks can be extremely misleading.
If you would like to see a particular ticker symbol in a market that we cover, but we do not have that symbol in our database, you can request that we add that symbol by using our Ticker Request form.
Data Timeliness
Users will see charts that are based on data that is delayed.
Signal Data and Historical Price Data
Regarding signal data (including, data calculated according to technical analysis formula or results generated by back testing) and/or historical price data (collectively, the “Calculated Data”):
We calculate signal data according to our best knowledge, but do not guarantee its accuracy, performance or effectiveness, because such calculations may be subjected to errors caused directly or indirectly by us (or our data provider).
We (or our data provider) adjust our historical price data to remove gaps caused by stock splits, dividends and distributions. That may cause our charts to look different from other services that do not perform the same adjustments. We do not guarantee the accuracy of such adjustments, nor our adjusted historical price data can be used to determine the actual buy or sell price for a stock at some point in the past. Further, our adjusted historical price data may not match up with unadjusted data from other sources.
To avoid doubt, we do not guarantee the accuracy, performance or effectiveness of any Calculated Data.
